Bill and Jan Harrison of Boaz announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Be’Call Harrison, to Daniel Joseph Gardner, son of Jim and Peggy Gardner of Rockport, Ind.

Miss Harrison is the granddaughter of Earl Hays of Boaz and the late Frances Hays, and the late Nicholas and Jean Harrison. She is a 2005 graduate of Lone Oak High School and a 2010 graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication.

Mr. Gardner is the grandson of Patricia Fahy of Rockport, Ind., and the late Thomas Fahy, and the late Roy and Pauline Gardner. He is a 2004 graduate of South Spencer High School and a 2010 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science. He is an alumnus of Phi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He is employed by the United States Enrichment Corp.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 6 p.m. Sept. 29 at The Lodge at Emerald Waters in Mayfield. All friends and relatives are invited.
