KEVIL — Mr. and Mrs. Fred P. Hertlein of Kevil will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Patti’s restaurant in Grand Rivers. The couple request no gifts.

Mr. Hertlein and the former Barbara Ann Markgraf were married Sept. 15, 1962, by the Rev. Welbern Bowman at Grandview Baptist Church in Grandview, Mo. Their attendants were Janet Strautman Fay and Jim K. Stafford.

Mrs. Hertlein is a retired payroll clerk. She is the daughter of the late August A. and Gladys C. Clopton Markgraf.

Mr. Hertlein is retired from independent insurance sales with Insurance Today, Inc. He is the son of the late Oscar and Caroline Kretzmann Hertlein.

They are the parents of Stephanie Hunt of Paducah. They have two grandchildren.
