Billy Ray Owen of Paducah passed away at home on Saturday, August 18, 2012.

He was born on December 16, 1949. He was of the Baptist faith.

Bill is survived by one daughter, Billie Marie (T.J. Walker) Hall of Morristown, Tenn.; one son, Bill Ray Owen of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four brothers, Grover (Mary Jo) Owen, Mickey (Sue) Owen and Larry (Velvie) Owen, all of Paducah, and Michael (Pat) Owen of Manchester, Tenn.; two sisters, Joyce (Eric) Ahlemeyer of Reidland and Ruth Owen of Evansville, Ind.; granddaughters, Vickie Chapman, Ashley Dukes, Mesha Dukes and Kerry Dukes; grandsons, Joseph Owen and Chris Owen; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Nevada (Bobo) Owen; his father, Grover C. Owen; and one sister, Pat Morgan.

No services are scheduled at this time.
