Phyllis J. Waldon Faulkner, 70, of Paducah died at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday at Western Baptist Hospital.
She was a member of Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries, where she served on the Culinary Ministry, Mother’s Ministry, and Heavenly Senior’s Ministry. She was a graduate of West Kentucky State Vocational School and retired from J.C. Penney as a stock clerk.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa M. Welch of Paducah; one son, Aaron Tyrone Waldon of Paducah; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Woods and Carolyn Byas, both of Paducah; one brother, Auther Lee Waldon of Paducah; two stepdaughters, Mary K. Faulkner Bailey and Constance L. Harris, both of Paducah; four stepsons, Byron B. Faulkner, Gary A. Faulkner, Willard Jerome Faulkner, all of Paducah, and Victor W. Faulkner of Lawrenceville, Ga..; 13 stepgrandchildren; 24 stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Faulkner Sr.; her parents, George and Alverta Howell Waldon; one son, Tracey D. Waldon; one grandson; and one stepson.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries with the Rev. Ronnie Coneal officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
