MURRAY — Dalton B. Darnell, 70, of Murray, died Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

He was an excellent bridge player and had attained the rank of Diamond Life Master.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bearl Dalton Darnell & Gladys B. Adams Darnell.

Mr. Darnell is survived by his wife, Marcia Brown Darnell of Murray; one son, Bearl Malcolm Darnell of Kirksey.

A memorial service will be 6:00 P.M. Thursday, August 16, 2012, at Scotts Grove Baptist Church.

Heritage Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
