Charles L. Crockett, 84, of Paducah died at 2:09 p.m. Thursday at Western Baptist Hospital.

He was a member of Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries and was a retired professional custodian.

Mr. Crockett is survived by a daughter, Valerie Crockett-Lowe of Paducah; five sons, Arlanda Harris, Cameron Brewer, Charles W. Crockett and David L. Crockett, all of Paducah, and Eddie Crockett of Hampton, Va.; a sister, Rosie Coleman of Waukegan, Ill.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces, nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Crockett; a daughter, Linda Crockett; and a grandson. His parents were Ervin and Jessie Owens Crockett.

Services will be at noon Monday at Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries with Barbara Burrage officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
