SALEM — Gerald C. Williams, 65, of Salem, Ky., passed away Thursday afternoon at his home.

He attended Dyer Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Scharlene Williams of Salem; 10 children, Regina Williams Rankin of Missouri, Michael Williams of Memphis, Tenn., Sabrina Chittenden and her husband, Tim of Smithland, Ky., Gerald Williams, Jr. of Paducah, Ky., Matthew Williams of Knoxville, Tenn., Ashley Cochran and her husband, Chris of Knoxville, Ryan Williams of Knoxville, Scotty Williams of Knoxville, Jamie Franklin and her husband, Jonathan of Knoxville, Jessica Adams and her husband, Chris of Knoxville; three stepchildren, Nunzio Columbus of Michigan, Jeana L. Columbus of Salem, and Jeremiah D. Adams and his wife, Raschel of Sharpe, Ky.; grandchildren, Christina Collier, Timmy Chittenden, Jr., Heather Chittenden, Alyson Chittenden, Hailey Chittenden, Jerrica Williams, Hayden Williams, Maddox Williams, Bryson Cochran, Blake Cochran, Brileigh Cochran, Peytyn Cash, Brooklin Nighbert, Haley Williams, Savannah Williams, Austin Williams, Kyler Franklin, Braylynn Franklin, Grace Adams; stepgrandchildren, Nikki Davis and Issabella Columbus.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, a grandchild, Joey Williams; and his parents, Walter and Edna Ruth Williams.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors, with the Rev. Jarry Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in Dyer Hill Cemetery.
