BUNCOMBE, Ill. — Tonya D. Altenberger, 46, of Buncombe died Wednesday at her home.

She was a registered nurse.

She is survived by her parents, Daniel and Linda Spears of Paulton; a daughter, Hope Sauerbrunn of Vienna; a brother, Rodney Boyer of Benton, La.; three sisters, Marilyn Benton, Shari Weaber and Amy Spears, all of Decatur; and her grandmother, Mary Spears of Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her son, Joey Altenberger; her father, Ronald Boyer; and her grandparents, Gerald Spears and Henry and Frances Rhoades.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
