MARION — J.D. Orr, 90, of Marion died Wednesday at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.

He was a member of Marion Baptist Church. A World War II Army veteran, he was a former Crittenden County sheriff and Crittenden County judge-executive.

He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Singleton of Marion; two grandsons, Jason and Jarrod Singleton, both of Marion; and his great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Orr; three sisters, and one brother. His parents were Finney and Cordia Orr.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion with military rites. Interment will follow in Mapleview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
