MAUI, Hawaii — Aimee Danette Ruder and Brian Paul Cloud were united in marriage May 15 at sea near Lahaina Harbor, Maui, with Captain Gene Perkins officiating.

The bride is the daughter of David and Vicki Ruder of Merrillville, Ind.

The groom is the son of Paul and Brenda Cloud of Benton, Ky.

The bride chose Dr. Kendall Agochukwu of Seattle, Wash., as her matron of honor.

The groom chose Andy Gibson of Athens, Ala., as best man.

A reception for the couple was held June 2 aboard the CQ Princess, Captain’s Quarters Yacht Charters of Louisville, Ky.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Merrillville High School in Merrillville, Ind., and a 2007 graduate with a doctor of pharmacy degree from Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy, Shenandoah University in Winchester, Va. She is employed by the James Brown Cancer Center at the University of Louisville as a specialty practice pharmacist-hematology/oncology.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Marshall County High School in Benton, Ky., and a 2005 graduate of Transylvania University in Lexington, Ky. He is employed by ALTOUR International as the chief technology officer of SwiftTrip.

They reside in Louisville, Ky.
