VILLA RIDGE, Ill. — Floyd Edward Lingle, 87, of St. Ives, Australia, formerly of Ware and Dongola, died Tuesday in Australia.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia F. Lingle.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Moylan H. Tuttle. His parents were Floyd Dewitt Lingle and Norma Brow) Lingle Tuttle.

Services with military honors will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home-Villa Ridge. Interment will follow in Meisenhimer-Mount Olive Cemetery in Dongola.
