Mr. and Mrs. John Bob Padgitt of Paducah will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a family trip in June. The couple request no gifts.

Mr. Padgitt and the former Virginia Edith Hinchey were married May 1, 1947, by B.R. Winchester at Lone Oak Baptist Church. Their attendants were Nell Reber Gallemore and Bobby Anderson.

Mrs. Padgitt retired from Peoples First National Bank. She is the daughter of the late Ford and Ethel Hinchey.

Mr. Padgitt retired from Paducah Coca-Cola Bottling Co. He is the son of the late R.W. and Mary Padgitt.

They have two children: Diane Dodson of Paducah and Kenneth Padgitt of Smyrna, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.
