GILBERTSVILLE — Mr. and Mrs. Charles Holland of Gilbertsville will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Wednesday. A family dinner is planned at a later date. The couple request no gifts, but welcome cards.

Mr. Holland and the former Rosemary Walton were married April 4, 1952, at Twelfth Street Baptist Church in Paducah with the Revs. R.B. White and Paul Hall officiating. Their attendants were Lucille Reneau and Albert Billows.

Mrs. Holland retired from the Western Kentucky Mental Health-Mental Retardation Board Inc. She is the daughter of the late James and Ruby Quarles Walton.

Mr. Holland is retired from Western Kentucky Gas Co. and the Home Builders Association of Western Kentucky. He is the son of the late John and Bernice Holland.

They are the parents of five sons: Keith Holland of Cunningham, Pat Holland of Marietta, Ga., the late Rick Holland, the late Bob Holland and the late Phil Holland. They have three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
