HICKMAN — Katherine Ellen Sanger and Jordan Michael Hancock were united in marriage Dec. 17 at First Methodist Church in Hickman with the Rev. Nancy Varden officiating. Ms. Karastin Hancock of Fulton served as the lector. Music was provided by Andrew Moore of Fulton, organist.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Kathy Sanger of Hickman.
The groom is the son of Ms. Jill Harper of Clinton and Mike Hancock of South Fulton, Tenn.
The bride chose Mrs. Betsy Morris of Gallatin, Tenn., as her matron of honor and Mrs. Joni Beth Waldroup of Lexington as bridesmaid. Miss Avery Morris and Miss Lucy Morris, daughters of David and Betsy Morris of Gallatin, Tenn., were the flower girls. Ringbearer was Owen Howell, son of Jason and Reneé Howell of Murray.
The groom chose Ronnie Harper of Clinton as his best man and Larry Jones of Clinton as groomsman. Serving as ushers were Jeromy Slayden and Jared Slayden of Clinton.
A reception followed at The Hampton Centre in Union City, Tenn. Ms. Mary Browder and Ms. Madeline Howell of Murray attended the guest registry.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tenn., and a 2008 graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in agri-business. She is employed on the family farm.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Hickman County High School in Clinton. He is a self-employed farmer.
They reside in Water Valley.
