Mr. and Mrs. Larry Johnson of Lone Oak recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at a reception at the Hendron Lions Club.

Mr. Johnson and the former Jeanie Harrison were married Jan. 27, 1962, by the Rev. L.W. Carlin at Bellview Baptist Church. Their attendants were Bobby Johnson and Judy Steger.

Mrs. Johnson is a retired registered nurse. She is the daughter of the late Nicholas and Jean Harrison.

Mr. Johnson is retired from computer maintenance at Lockheed Martin of Paducah. He is the son of the late Nelson and Lola Johnson.

They have two daughters, Missy Myers of Bradenton, Fla., and Dana Knudsen of Paducah; and two grandchildren.
