Mr. and Mrs. J.C. McManus of Paducah will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 19 at the M.G. Banquet Hall, 85 Lakeview Drive, behind the Pain Management Center in Lone Oak. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple requests no gifts.

Mr. McManus and the former Gloria East were married Feb. 16, 1962, by the Rev. Leonard Alvey at St. Thomas More rectory in Paducah. Their attendants were Rosemary Rucks Dillworth and Buddy Poat.

Mrs. McManus is a retired certified nursing assistant. She is the daughter of the late James W. and Helen East.

Mr. McManus is retired from United Food & Commercial Workers Internationl Union. He is the son of the late William Clarence and Hallie Mae McManus.

They have three children: Tim McManus of Hendersonville, Tenn., Patrick McManus of West Paducah and Christy Massie of Brookport, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
