Rae Ann Ragland and Michael Benjamin Walker were united in marriage Aug. 20 at First Christian Church in Paducah with the Rev. Mariann Lankton officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Donna Chapman of Paducah, organist.

The bride is the daughter of Rick and Nancy Ragland of Paducah.

The groom is the son of Cliff and Terry Walker of Union City, Tenn.

The bride chose her mother as her matron of honor.

The groom chose his father as his best man. Serving as ushers were Wes Ragland of Lexington, brother of the bride; and Patrick Walker and Spencer Walker, both of Union City and brothers of the groom. Aranda Tate of Union City served as candlelighter.

A reception followed at Rolling Hills Country Club. Julie Tinsley of Marion and A.J. Plummer of Boston attended the guest registry.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education. She is employed by the McCracken County Public Schools.

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Savannah College of Art Design with a bachelor’s degree in illustration. He is employed by McCracken County Public Schools and Michael’s craft store.

They reside in Paducah.
