Mr. and Mrs. James Bradley Smith of Paducah will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Mr. Smith and the former Maxine Pirtle Warren were married Jan. 18, 1947, by Henry White at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Paducah. Their attendants were Don and Martha Milliken.

Mrs. Smith is the daughter of the late Clyde and Maggie Pirtle.

Mr. Smith is the son of the late Bradley and Lena Leggate Smith. He is retired from Union Carbide Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant.

They have four children: Tom Warren, Nancy Warren Morris and Mike Smith, all of Paducah, and Carol Smith Cain of Melber; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
