DENVER — Shannon Brianne Fisher and Dr. Phillip Dean Smith were united in marriage June 4 at Montview Presbyterian Church in Denver with the Rev. Sheri Fry officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Barbara Hulac of Denver, organist.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Fisher of Hastings, Neb. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Smith of Paducah.

The bride chose her sister, Ms. Elizabeth Fisher of Augusta, Ga., as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Jamie Lyn Buller of Lincoln, Neb.; Miss Jolene Elizabeth Cassel of Denver; Mrs. Breanna Kay Padgett of Lochbuie, Colo.; Dr. Allison Leigh Smith and Miss Lisa Haywood Smith, both of Nashville, Tenn., and sisters of the groom.

The groom chose his brother, Matthew Frazier Smith of Lexington, as his best man. Groomsmen were Robert Warren Gould of Winston-Salem, N.C., James Stanley Gwinn III of Paducah and Charles Joseph Key of Nashville, Tenn.

A reception followed at The Walker Art Gallery.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Hastings High School in Hastings, Neb., and a 2005 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Kerney in Kerney. She is a registered nurse employed by Rose Medical Center in Denver.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School, a 2003 graduate of Davidson College in Davidson, N.C., and a 2007 graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tenn. He is employed at the University of Colorado Medical Center in Denver as a resident in general surgery.

They reside in Denver.
