Stefanie Rebecca Long and Jarrod Thomas Staggs were united in marriage Sept. 10 at First Baptist Church of Paducah with the Rev. Jeffery Cruse officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Becky Hicks of Cunningham, Jeff Hicks of Mayfield, and the late Larry Long.

The groom is the son of Tom and FerRonda Staggs of Sikeston, Mo.

The bride chose her sister, Mrs. Sabrina Gilbert of Milburn, as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Starla Hicks and Miss Sydney Hicks, both of Cunningham and sisters of the bride; and Miss Samantha Staggs of Sikeston, sister of the groom. Serving as flower girls were Miss Catrina Gilbert and Miss Elizabeth Gilbert, daughters of Jacob and Sabrina Gilbert of Milburn.

The groom chose Paul Gammons of Columbia, Mo., as his best man. Groomsmen were Brent Cole of Huntsville, Ala., Tony Parker of Sikeston and Matt Bledsoe of Mount Vernon, Ill.

A reception followed at the Robert Cherry Civic Center with Julie Hook of Cunningham hosting the dinner. Servers were Sonya Rambo and Toni Brown, both of Cunningham.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Carlisle County High School, a 2008 graduate of Murray State University and a 2011 graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., with a doctorate degree in occupational therapy. She is employed by Life Care Center of Hickory Woods.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School in Sikeston and a 2007 graduate of Murray State University with a degree in engineering graphics and design. He is employed by Nashville Machine Co.

They reside in Nashville.
