Duane Kindred of Fancy Farm and Marianne Clarke of Gulf Breeze, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Mallory Denee Kindred, to Clay Aaron Tilford, son of Daryl and Sherry Tilford of West Paducah.

Miss Kindred is the granddaughter of A.J. and Patricia Lousteau of Baton Rouge, La., and Ray and Paula Fuller of Crossville, Tenn. She is a 2008 graduate of Heath High School and is attending the mechanical drafting and design program at West Kentucky Community & Technical College. She is employed by 3A Composites in Benton.

Mr. Tilford is the grandson of Pat and Dorothy Slankard of Paducah, and Garth and Reba Tilford of West Paducah. He is a 2002 graduate of Heath High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in education in 2006 from Murray State University, where he is pursuing a master’s degree. He is employed by Paducah Public Schools.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 5 p.m. Sept. 10 at Bethel Christian Church in Kevil. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations are being sent.
