MELBER — Mr. and Mrs. Terry Oliver of Melber will observe their 50th wedding anniversary with a celebration beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday at Folsomdale Masonic Lodge in Folsomdale. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple requests no gifts.

Mr. Oliver and the former Vickie Marie Haworth were married Aug. 13, 1961, by the Rev. James Tharp at Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Lowes. Their attendants were Linda VeuCasovic Ramage and Harold Townsend.

Mrs. Oliver is retired from the Graves County Farm Service Agency. She is the daughter of the late Leola Mathis and the late Noble and Mae Foster.

Mr. Oliver is retired from General Tire. He is the son of the late Albert and Addis Oliver.

They have three children: Perry Scott Oliver, Christopher Harris Oliver and Victoria Michelle Oliver, all of Lowes; and three grandchildren.
