CALVERT CITY — Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Camper of Calvert City celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 27 with a reception at Mike Miller Park in Draffenville.

Mr. Camper and the former Linda Sheppard were married May 27, 1961, at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Paducah by the Rev. Joe Gardner. Their attendants were Joe Sheppard and Jean Martin.

Mrs. Camper is the daughter of the late Charles and Lucille Sheppard. She is retired from Amerisource Bergen.

Mr. Camper is the son of the late Fred and Ruby Camper. He is retired from West Kentucky Specialties.

They are the parents of Cindy Riley of Lyon County and Donnie Camper of Atlanta. They have one grandson.
