Eddie and Robin Evans of Gage and Greg and Martha Veatch of Heath announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Anne Veatch, to Robert “Tyke” Chandler, son of Robert and Paul Chandler of Georgetown, Ind.

Miss Veatch is the granddaughter of Charlotte Terrell of Paducah and the late Paul Terrell, the late Doris Veatch and the late Robert Veatch.

Mr. Chandler is the grandson of Aline VanMeter of Georgetown, Ind., and the late Robert Chandler Sr., and the late Cecil and Mary Byerley.

Wedding vows will be exchanged in June in Negril, Jamaica. A reception is planned in Louisville in July.
