BENTON — Mr. and Mrs. William Jones of Benton will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. June 26 at the Mike Miller Park Visitor’s Center in Draffenville. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple requests no gifts.

Mr. Jones and the former Polly Sue Frazier were married June 30, 1951, by the Rev. J.J. Gough in Benton. Their attendants were Clarence Frazier and Mary Frazier Tubbs Henley, brother and sister of the bride.

Mrs. Jones is an artist and the daughter of the late W.L. and Bonnie Frazier.

Mr. Jones is retired from Pipefitters Local 284 and is the son of the late John and Tempy Thompson Jones.

They are the parents of Susan Jones Parrish of Benton.
