Mr. and Mrs. Alton Ross of Lone Oak will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. May 22 at Lone Oak First Baptist Church. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple requests no gifts.

Mr. Ross and the former Anna Lee Galloway were married May 20, 1951, by the Rev. B.B. Murphy in Paducah. Their attendants were Peggy Morris, sister of the bride, and Allen Ross, brother of the groom.

Mrs. Ross is retired from Cards ‘N’ Such. She is the daughter of the late Lee and Vera Cook Galloway.

Mr. Ross retired from the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant with 36 years’ service. He is the son of the late Harry and Gertrude Nicholson Ross.

They have two children: Stephen A. Ross of Lexington and Jennifer Lee Sauer of Cleveland, Ohio; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
