Jimmy and Beth Shutt of West Plains announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Leigh Shutt, to John Michael Ellington, son of Shane and Lee Alice Ellington of Hardmoney.

Miss Shutt is the granddaughter of Don and Glenda Gough of West Plains, Norm and Margaret Heath Davis of Sedalia and Linda Norwood of Folsomdale. She is a 2009 graduate of Graves County sports_high_school and is attending West Kentucky Community & Technical College. She is employed by Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.

Mr. Ellington is the grandson of John and Shirley Sheridan of Calvert City and Joel and Geneva Ann Ellington of Paducah. He is a 2006 graduate of Christian Community Academy and is employed by CC Metals and Alloys in Calvert City.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 7 p.m. June 10 at Symsonia Baptist Church in Symsonia. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations are being sent.
