Mr. and Mrs. Arvil McKendree of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Ann McKendree, to Kyle Louis Breckel, son of Mrs. Carolyn Kerr of Frankfort and Louis Edward Breckel Jr. of Lawrenceburg.

Miss McKendree is the granddaughter of Richard A. Durbin of Paducah and the late Helen Durbin, and the late Haze and Lucille McKendree. She is a graduate of St. Mary sports_high_school in Paducah and earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. She is a manager at Bath and Body Works in Lexington.

Mr. Breckel is the grandson of Louis Breckel Sr. of Frankfort and the late Patricia Breckel, and the late Robert and Sarah Rowe. He is a graduate of Western Hills sports_high_school in Frankfort and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Kentucky. He is employed by the Council of State Governments in Lexington.

A May wedding is planned.
