Ashley Diane Thomas and Jimmie Eldon Wilson were united in marriage Jan. 1 at the Julian Carroll Convention Center. The Rev. Jim Koons and the Rev. Bill Koons officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Evan and Liz Thomas of Mayfield, and Belinda Toon of Mayfield. The groom is the son of Tom and Annye Doviak of Topeka, Kan., and Bob and Georgette Wilson of Wichita, Kan.
The bride chose Mrs. Holly Ralph of Mayfield as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Ashley LeDoyt of Hendersonville, Tenn., Ms. Becky Steger of Paducah and Ms. Jennifer Cooksey of Benton. Serving as flower girls were Miss Lanie Ralph, daughter of Ray and Holly Ralph of Mayfield; and Miss Remi Middlebusher, daughter of Jason and Nicole Middlebusher of Bartlesville, Okla. Keaton Timmons of Mayfield, son of the bride, served as ringbearer.
The groom chose Jon Perry of Clarksville, Tenn., as his best man. Groomsmen were Chris Haider of Whitehouse, Texas, Matt Wilkerson of Columbia, S.C., and Heath Rutledge of Mineola, Texas. Ushers were Patrick Thomas and Dane Coles, both of Mayfield, Erech Doviak and Jorydan Doviak of Topeka, Kan.
A reception followed. Servers were Elizabeth McAlpin and Kimberly Buck, both of Mayfield, and Ginger McManus of Paducah. Shelbie Ralph of Lexington attended the guest register.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Marshall County sports_high_school in Benton, a 2005 graduate of West Kentucky Community & Technical College with an associate degree in radiography and a 2011 graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences. She is employed by Lourdes hospital.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Burlingame sports_high_school in Burlingame, Kan. He is employed by the U.S. Army at Fort Campbell.
They reside in Mayfield.
