BENTON — Mr. and Mrs. David F. Hoffmeyer of Benton will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday.

They were married May 5, 1951, at St. Mark’s Methodist Church in Detroit.

Mrs. Hoffmeyer is a retired elementary and middle school teacher in Michigan and also retired from North Marshall Middle School with 10 years’ service.

Mr. Hoffmeyer is a retired elementary school principal in Michigan.

They are the parents of Marsha Kubilis of Washington Township, Mich., Sandra Howery of Columbia, David S. Hoffmeyer of Benton and Linda S. Lane of Benton. They have 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
