Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Barkley of Paducah celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Walt Disney World.
Mr. Barkley and the former Janice Cary were married Jan. 28, 1961, by the Rev. Damon London at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Paducah. Their attendants were June Martin, sister of the bride, and Troy Barkley, brother of the groom.
Mrs. Barkley is a former employee of Citizens Bank & Trust Co. in Paducah and retired from First Kentucky Bank of Mayfield. She is the daughter of Ruth Cary of Paducah and the late James Cary.
Mr. Barkley is semi-retired from Petter Supply Co. He is the son of the late Richard and Gladys Barkley.
They have two children: Tonis Dee Barkley of Kansas City, Mo., and Brad Barkley of Paducah; and one grandson.
