-- Staff report

The Henderson Flash took advantage of four Paducah errors and went on to beat the Chiefs 8-4 in Ohio Valley League play Saturday night at Brooks Stadium.

The Flash took the lead to stay in the third inning as Fernando Villegas walked, advanced to third after a ground out and a balk and scored on an error for a 2-1 lead. Henderson added two runs in the fourth, aided by an error, and another run in the seventh for a 5-1 lead.

The Chiefs closed to within a run with a three-run eighth but left the bases loaded. Henderson added three in the ninth for the final margin.

Henderson got a solid pitching effort from winner Brantley Flanigan, who allowed one unearned run in 61/3 innings.

Trevor McMurray took the loss, allowing four runs (one earned) in six innings. Keaton Rice had two hits and drove in a run for the Chiefs.

Paducah came back to win Sunday night's game, 9-3, in Henderson.
