GREENVILLE -- After five scoreless innings, the Paducah Chiefs and the Muhlenberg County Stallions both turned on the offensive juice late during Ohio Valley League baseball action on Tuesday night. The Stallions had the last, best burst with four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning of a 7-4 victory.
Muhlenberg County fought back with three runs in the sixth for a 3-1 lead, highlighted by a two-run double from Michael Brown.
In the seventh inning, Nick Shumaker put Paducah back on top with a two-run single during a three-run frame. The Stallions took the lead for good with four runs in their half of the seventh.
