Burnett wins Kentucky PGA event

Ryne Burnett, a 2009 Reidland High graduate, shot a 5-under-par 67 on Monday to notch his first Kentucky PGA Individual victory at the NCR Pro-Am Series in Louisville.

Burnett won by three strokes, with his round featuring six birdies and just one bogey. He was 3-under-par on the back nine to cap his victory.

After graduating from Reidland, Burnett went on to golf for Lindsey Wilson College. He's a former assistant pro at Drake Creek Golf Club in Ledbetter and is currently the assistant pro at Triple Crown Country Club in Union.
