Stewart announces MSU football camps

Murray State head football coach Mitch Stewart has announced five camps in June for kids of varying ages and skill levels.

â ¢ Friday Night Lights - June 16 and 23. The Friday Night camps return for a second season. The three-hour evening camp features opportunities for campers from ages 5-11 to experience all aspects of football. Stations will be set up for participants to throw, catch, tackle, kick and more. The cost is $30. The camp runs from 6-9 p.m.

â ¢ Prospect Camp - June 17 and 24. This is a one-day camp that offers prospects that opportunity to showcase their skills among some of the best competition around. This camp is open to prospects who are entering the ninth grade and up, recent high school graduates and current junior college players. The camp begins at 9 a.m. and costs $40.

â ¢ Air Assault High School Quarterbacks Camp - June 19-21. New for 2017 is the overnight Air Assault Quarterback for campers from seventh to 12th grade. The camp runs from June 19-21 and will cost $200, including boarding and meals. This camp will offer young quarterbacks the opportunity to work with Stewart, who has coached two of the more prolific quarterbacks in MSU history in current Racer coach Casey Brockman, who will also staff the camp, and KD Humphries.
