Murray moves on in All A

Staff report

Murray 20, Fulton County 1 -- At Murray, the Tigers were unstoppable on the basepaths, creating 20 runs from just nine hits to overwhelm Fulton County in the opening round of the First Region All "A" Tournament.

Hal Bogard and Zack Mathis each knocked in for runs for Murray. With the bags full and two out in the bottom of the fourth inning, Mathis stroked a bases-clearing triple to end the Tiger scoring barrage.

Three pitchers for Murray -- Will Shelton, Dalton Lassiter and Casey Wilson -- combined for a two-hit, 10 strikeout outing white walking only two.
