Lady Wildcats walk away with win over Hopkinsville

Trigg 9, Hopkinsville 2 -- At Cadiz, Trigg County spotted Hopkinsville an early 2-0 lead before responding with nine unanswered runs to come away with a win to get back to .500.

Four passed balls eventually gave Trigg a 4-2 lead after three innings, as the Lady Wildcats needed just three hits for the victory after drawing 13 walks. Hannah Colbert picked up a complete-game one-hitter with eight strikeouts and three walks while yielding just two unearned runs.
