Tilghman moves to 5-1 after popping Pope

Staff report

Mallory Myers fell a home run shy of the cycle and collected three RBI, Darby Moffatt had three runs and four Lady Tornado players notched at least two RBI in Paducah Tilghman's 13-3 victory over Pope County, Illinois, on Monday in high school softball.

Tilghman trailed 2-1 after the first inning before plating 8 runs in the bottom of the next frame.

Chesleigh Pugh scattered eight hits and three runs (one earned) with three strikeouts and no walks for the five-inning win.
