GOLF -- Applications are available for the sixth annual Swing for a Cure two-person scramble Friday at Murray Country Club. Proceeds will go to the ALS Association Kentucky chapter. Entry fee is $120 per team, which includes green fee and golf cart. The fee also includes three mulligans per team. Individuals ($60) who enter will be paired with a partner. Shotgun start will be at 1 p.m. with a light lunch served at noon. For more information, call tournament director Charlie Gibbs at 270-226-3895 or the Murray Country Club pro shop at 270-753-9430.
