Glisson earns 2nd in Shelbyville event

-- Staff report

SHELBYVILLE -- Paducah golfer Madison Glisson finished second in the girls 12-and-under category at Spring Stableford No. 2. The Kentucky PGA Junior Tour event, which was played on the par-72 Weissinger Hills Golf Course, uses the Stableford scoring system that adds points for going below par and deducts points for going over.

Glisson finished with a score of 15. Jenna Estravillo of Mount Washington topped the six-golfer group with 26. Ty Gallimore of Almo was seventh among the nine boys in 15-16 group with 34. Mike Swanson of Lexington won that group with a 49.
