Marshals drop two in Alabama

Tuscaloosa Co. 11, Marshall 6; Cordova 11, Marshall 1 -- Marshall County had a rough time of it Monday, giving up 11 runs each in a pair of softball losses during a spring break trip in Alabama.

First, the Marshals squandered a 6-0 lead and fell 11-6 in Tuscaloosa County. Serenna Tomassi doubled twice for Marshall, while Presley Hezie drove in three runs. The nightcap on the day was not as close as Cordova scored four runs in the first inning of an 11-1, five-inning triumph. Addie Young had two hits and drove in the lone Marshall run.
