Graves earns second win with Fairview shellacking

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Graves County softball came away with its second win of the season on Monday morning with a 16-2 victory over Fairview in the Cal Ripken Experience at Myrtle Beach.

Six Lady Eagles came up with two runs, with freshman Carson Travis leading the team by going 2-for-4 with two RBI and a home run in a seven-run second inning. Chloe Grover went a perfect 2-for-2 with two base hits, two runs and an RBI.

Kristen Wimsatt led the Lady Eagles in the circle by giving up just two hits -- both triples -- in five innings, while yielding just one earned run and striking out five with no walks.
