SEMO tennis tops Racers' women

MURRAY -- The Murray State women's tennis team fell 5-2 to Southeast Missouri State in an Ohio Valley Conference match at the Bennie Purcell Courts on Saturday.

In doubles, MSU's Anja Loncarevic and Amina Hadzic defeated Kseniya Zonova and Anais Emelie 6-2. SEMO ended up winning the doubles point. Alina Schibol brought MSU its first point of the match when she defeated SEMO's Annisa Warasanti 6-1, 6-1. Claire Chang rallied 6-2, 4-6, 10-7 with the Redhawks' Oleksandra Doroshenko to give the Racers another singles point.

Murray State fell to 5-8 on the season (2-2 OVC) and will host UT Martin today.
