Paducah girl wins at Stableford golf

-- Staff report

LEXINGTON -- Paducah's Madison Glisson won the girls 12-under title at Spring Stableford No. 1, which was played on the par-72 golf course at Griffin Gate Marriott Resort and Spa.

The event on the Kentucky PGA Junior Golf Tour uses the Stableford scoring system that awards points for going under par and deducts points for going over par.

Glisson finished with a score of 15, edging Morgan Shown of Lexington with a 14 in the seven-player field. CeCelia Ray of Calvert City was third among four girls in the 9-under group with a 3. Athena Singh of Morehead took that category with an 11.
