Paducah businesswoman and homeowner Ashlea McMillan's favorite spot to spend warm weather months at her home is her three seasons, glass-enclosed sun porch.
It was purchased in 2010. Ashlea and her son Max have spent many mornings, and evenings, in her outdoor inspired sunroom with a blue and white theme.
"We love to be outdoors. We're out there every morning when the weather warms up," says Ashlea.
Ashlea has made many memories with family and friends on the porch. From her son's Nemo-themed 3rd birthday party, to lunching with friends, to pickin' parties, ladies nights and Battleship boardgame matches with her son, the sunporch is the perfect gathering spot.
Added to the home in the early 1980s by previous homeowners, the enclosed porch has received gradual improvements and upgrades throughout the years, like wood trim, wainscoting and window screens, and most recently double French doors, which open up to the patio and well landscaped backyard.
Ashlea has put her thumbprint on the room in other ways as well. Her traditional style is coupled with whimsical accessories and repurposed furniture.
It's definitely easy for one to see why the charming three seasons porch is a favorite spot for this homeowner.
