Staff report

P.A.T.C.H. (Parents As Teachers in Christian Homes) is a cooperative organization of more than 100 member families whose purpose is to offer support for parents teaching their children at home in individual, private home schools.

Several of these private home schools took part in PATCH commencement on May 21 to recognize students earning their high school diplomas.

Graduates are:

David Allen Ackley Jr., son of David and Stacy Ackley, Right T.R.A.C.K. Academy, Wickliffe. Dave plans to become a Navy SEAL and later join the Police Academy.

Ashley Nicole Allen, daughter of Brandon and Nikki Allen, Allen Academy, Paducah. Ashley will be working towards a degree in Social Work from Murray State University.

Elijah Arterburn, son of Gil and Val Arterburn, Ancient Paths Academy, Paducah. Elijah will be attending the University of Kentucky Extended Campus Engineering Program in Paducah.

Tyler Cunningham, son of Adam and Cheri Cunningham, Cunningham Academy, Paducah. Tyler will be serving in the U.S. Air Force following graduation.

Aaron Joseph Dodson, son of Larry and Carol Dodson, Riverside Christian Academy, Bardwell. Aaron will attend WKCTC to study criminal justice.

Colton Elliott Eichorn, son of Monty & Patti Eichorn, Trinity Christian Academy, Metropolis, Ill. Colton will be attending Shawnee Community College and SIU to pursue a degree in Audio/Video.

Amanda Gail Ellis, daughter of Jim and Lisa Ellis, Nurtured Hearts & Minds School, Paducah. Amanda plans to major in songwriting at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Bennett Joseph Estes, son of Kelly and Kenya Estes, Estes Christian School, Paducah. Bennett will be continuing his education at Murray State University this fall.

Joseph Graham Gibson, son of David and Cynthia Gibson, Gibson Homeschool, Dexter. Graham will continue his education at Murray State University majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy.

Skyler D. Gleue, son of Matthew and Karen Gleue, Gleue Academy, Paducah. Skyler will be pursuing his Associates of Science degree at WKCTC.

MaKayla Noel Haney, daughter of Dustin and Tara Haney, Hanson, and Melissa Haney, Dixon, His Glory Homeschool. Layla will attend Madisonville Community College to pursue an art degree.

Alexander Scott Harp, son of Scott and Mechelle Harp, Harp Academy, Paducah. Alex plans to attend WKCTC and Murray State in pursuit of a degree in Business Entrepreneurship.

William Joseph Myskowski, son of Chris and Terri Myskowski, Stonewall Academy, Kevil. Post-graduation, Will plans do mission work.

Sarah Abigail Okerson, daughter of Neal and Julie Okerson, Oak Hill School, Paducah. Sarah will be continuing her education at WKCTC.

Gabriel Thomas Puckett, son of Jeffrey and Kimberly Puckett, Crown Christian Academy, Paducah. Gabe will attend WKCTC this fall.

John D. Schmidt, son of Jeff and Beth Schmidt, Woodridge Christian Academy, Paducah. John will enter the University of Kentucky Extended Paducah Campus to study Mechanical Engineering.

Emily Mae Rose Strasser, daughter of Frank and Marie Strasser, Strasser Home School, Paducah. Emily will study nursing at WKCTC and pursue her BSN at UK.

Elizabeth McKenzie Tosh, daughter of Lois Anne Tosh and Gordon M. Tosh, Tosh Homeschool Academy, Marion. Elizabeth will be pursuing her Associate of Science degree at WKCTC, Paducah.

Samuel Thomas Webb, son of Tom and Deidre Webb, Rock Springs Academy, Clinton. Samuel is pursuing a career in farming.
