Staff report

BRIENSBURG -- The 2016 Christian Fellowship High School valedictorian is Rebekah Muller, the daughter of Mike and Gina Muller of Benton.

Rebekah is a Commonwealth Honors Academy recipient and was active in Beta Club, Bible Club, Pep Club, German Club, Choir, and the Worship Team throughout high school.

She also played varsity volleyball and track and field.

Rebekah plans to attend Murray State University and major in English.

The salutatorian is Emily Nelson. She is the daughter of Eric and Kimberly Nelson of Kuttawa.

While at CFS, Emily was active in DECA, Bible Club, Student Council, Beta Club, German Club, Pep Club, and the Worship Team. She also played varsity volleyball, basketball, track and field, and was a cheerleader.

Emily plans to attend Asbury University and major in Worship Arts.

Matthew Fleming, son of Andy and Lori Fleming, West Kentucky Community and Technical College; Mollie Gillespie, daughter of Wade and Kristi Gillespie, Harding University; Kailey Hicks, daughter of Brittany Nielsen and Chad Hicks, Murray State University; Christina Liu, host family is Lary and Mitzi Mason, North Park University; Junyeong Park, host family is Richie and Jenny Clendenen, Youth With A Mission; Austin Quarles, son of Phil and Suzanne Quarles, Murray State University; Bettye Starkey, daughter of David and Tutut Starkey, University of Kentucky.
