Lourdes hospital president and CEO Steven Grinnell presents a commemorative gift to Tony Reck, one of the first patients to be moved into the newly renovated orthopedic units at the hospital, on Friday. As part of the first phase of a multi-million dollar renovation project, the hospital completely renovated existing patient recovery rooms and expanded into additional space to provide orthopedic surgery patients a private space to recover. The recovery rooms are wider to facilitate medical equipment and in-room physical therapy. The next phase of the project will renovate 20 general-surgery recovery rooms, to open in May.
