Flu vaccinations

Kindergarten student Casey Tidwell (left) and second grader Hunter Winebarger, both of Southwest Calloway Elementary School, show off their flu vaccinations provided by the Calloway County Health Department and Calloway County Board of Education on Friday. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend that everyone 6 months of age or older should receive a flu vaccine before flu season arrives at its peak in January and February. There is no flu activity reported across the state, according to the CDC.
