Stan and Johnna Young of West Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Nicole Young, to Dennis Oliver Jackson, son of Steve and Gerritdina Jackson of Mayfield.

Miss Young is the granddaughter of Alice Miller of West Paducah, the late James and Katy Miller, and the late Vernon and Frances Young. She is a 2007 graduate of Heath sports_high_school and is attending West Kentucky Community & Technical College. She is employed by Best Buy Mobile in Paducah.

Mr. Jackson is the grandson of Sue Jackson of Mayfield and the late J.R. Jackson, and the late Arend and Barendina Stroomberg. He is a 2005 graduate of Mayfield sports_high_school and attended West Kentucky Community & Technical College and Murray State University. He is employed by Keeforce of Symsonia.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 5 p.m. May 29 at Madison Hall in Paducah. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations have been sent.
